my kawan did very well this time round! his intro to religion was A+. mine ah? don't say ald. haha.
met jr for my break on friday. we ate subway together. i am in love with it. i love bread. haha... all bread-lovers! ask me out for a subway meal okay? i don't mind. that was my 1st time. haha i know i am very kuku. but i just can't wait to try all the other types of bread they have.. =) but no onions next time. the smell and taste lingered on for the whole day!! brrr.
yeap xuemin, i am working with jiehan in heeren. =) jiehan is going to cambodia for some voluntary work. the humanities club or something in nus. so in order to raise funds, the girls bought some shoes and decorated them themselves. i bought one pair at the mine flea market on saturday. very pretty...beautiful pair of shoes... =) here they are!
very nice right... i wanted to support them for their efforts.. they really spent a lot of them making the shoes. and they turned out looking very beautiful. too beautiful and that was how the joke of ytd came about. i was working at skinnie* and jasmine at fourskin* called out to me and asked me to go over. when i went over, she said ' look at the girl's shoes!!! walking across now!' so i looked. i burst out laughing. HAHA!
how do i put it. the shoes. same. self-decorated. but very horrible. coz' you see green patches. (i really can't make out what they were) and the ink was smudged. coz' it was rained v heavily for the whole of yesterday afternoon. she happened to be a customer buying bag from skinnie and that was why jamie brought her to skinnie and walked past her. i laughed my way into the shop and helped her do the payment. jolene and jiehan were laughing as well. jiehan used j-lang saying 'violet, her shoes are ugly.' hahahah. i couldn't take it. then jolene said 'you win already' in chinese to me. and jiehan kept asking me to stand outside of the counter to let the girl see my shoes. hahah. cannot make it. i laughed until my tears came out. i gave the bag to the girl, and my whole body was shaking coz' i was laughing so badly. we very mean leh... how?! bad karma accumulated. *shakes head* but the whole incident was very funny! the girl also laughed with us. oh my god. haha! she surely did not know what was going on man...
shopping on friday, any takers? wanna watch x-men the final stand with jiehan also... hehe. so long since i last watched a movie. think it was in feb... bahh. 23 more days to go. yay!!

free from work but still went to town. singapore is quite a miserable place. haha. but we should appreciate it. we've got the peace.
first was ktv with my fourskin colleagues jamie n' jasmine. and doina. haha 4 of us. quite fun.. here are the pics. taken from jasmine's blog. hehs.
haha.. yup. that was it. then i went to meet jeremy for shopping. he said i psychoed him to buy that 100 bucks jeans. okay lor.. jeremy, you win. haha. he left shortly after that. then i was left alone in taka. i binged. hahah.. then walked into zara to get my top. good deal. $11.90 for a green sleeveless top. love the skirt and bottom too. but no money.. i need my pay... i wanna go shopping... can't wait. haha! my legs are trained to walk or stand for long hours already.
ryan came to meet me. had a good chat larr. haven't met for quite some time. since end of april.. my dear kawan is going chulalongkorn for student exchang prog in august. no lunch kaki next semester.. boohoo. josh also gonna stay in law faculty. anyway, we had to do with the stingray in clementi for our dinner. coz josh, our dai siew said no car so we shall not go to jurong to have the nice stingray.. next time maybe! when jaz and daryl are both back. we shall drive around to eat. hehe.
i got a shock last night. the weighing machine read 53. i nearly died. haha.. and this morning 51 half. what's wrong with it... anyway, i ran around the west coast court and nhss sch compound this morning. so tiring. ran for the first time in one year. haha. i shall run again on friday before work. 3 times a week. i hope i have the determination man.. please.. i have one half months more to go. haha.. my biggie arms. cmi. and violet, no more slouching... my dear friends, you are welcome to slap my back if you find me slouching when walking. gimme a break when i am sitting down. haha.

my muscles getting bigger and bigger. hmmmm... working is tough. was v hardworking today. i cleaned all the crates and boxes. took me 2 hours. no customers what.. could even draw a portrait of the cute guy in the magaine. too much time larr. haha. not bad. after months of not drawing. my skillls is still there.
tmr is my day off. finally man.. worked 4 days in a row already. singing at k box with jasmine, jamie and doina. jasmine and jamie are my good working partners. =) then gonna have dinner together with josh and ryan in the night. whoppie! meet up with old friends. but no stingray thou.. unless they want it. haha i am more than willing to eat it again loh.
alright. my previous post. seems like quite many people have read it. i thought no one will wanna read that kinda thing. haha anyway, thanks leh yy! i didn't notice the mistake. the *leading actor* in the story did not either. *sigh* oh jr, the tear-gland-stopper. where to get it huh? -.- haha! okok i know...

1 more month to go. we'll be able to mention the word 'year'. haha.. in exactly one more month's time, i will be with your dad at the airport to pick you up. really looking forward to that day. i've made it. we've made it. haha. incredible. one year just passed like this...
not many people know how we got together. let me see if i can still remember. (this can be a very boring account for readers. i just want to keep it as a personal account. please don't carry on if you don't like relationship stories. haha)
nov'04 i went to ryan's 21st birthday party with jeanie. daryl was a very friendly guy who somehow helped to entertain jeanie n' i. as jeanie was not together with andrew yet at that point of time, daryl said in a teasing way that we were evil to make andrew drive us back. that was it. we never met each other again until june'05. which was 7 months later.
jasper, ryan's friend was back from america. ryan brought along joe & nita and daryl. i had jeanie and ps with me. all of us went for ktv. i didn't even talk to daryl. erm only when both of us happened to be outside the ktv room. he complained he was cold. haha.. he said he will never wear berms to ktv ever again.
then somehow ryan gave daryl my msn, he told his dear cousin i was a funny person to talk to. duh!! what kinda introduction is that.. haha anyway. i was often crapping tp ryan using our so-so broken cantonese over msn. and daryl happened to be able to view ryan's pc screen at times. ok... daryl & i started talking over msn. i asked him out for a fun trip to *escape themepark* coz' it was no fun if there were only me and ps. so yeap, ryan, d', ps and i went together.. that's where dizzy lion and pukey tigress came about. dizzy after the rides. haha..
then another ktv session in that same month. after that session, d' drove me to nuh for my medical appointment. haha the way he talked about him battling the snake (toy snake) and then he showed me the picture of the stupid toy snake (from ikea) actually made me think he was a bit weird. haha! (dear. really larr. din know you too well that time) anyway. i felt nothing! d' also said he didn't know if he liked me already at that point of time. but according to jeanie, she saw him looking at me during ktv and she smelled something fishy. haha.
19th june'05. he sms-ed me asking me if i wanted to eat sweets. i was happy lah. someone buy sweets for you. but was wondering how come suddenly wanna buy sweets. but just take loh. haha typical singaporean. he drove from yio chu kang to clementi..at night. to pass me the *pink sweets* i went downstairs, and he gave me this swatch watch. my reaction...hmm one word. "shocked". we talked for quite a while. very paiseh. coz' my mum called once. my grandma called once. then we ended our talk (were standing by his car talking for like 20 mins?)
i got home, feeling a lil' happier than normal. coz' got watch as birthday present what. he said he could not pass it to me on my birthday. so he decided to give it to me earlier. erm.. like really early leh. 20 days!! haha.. but! i still didn't feel anything. didn't suspect the tiny little bit.
the next morning he sent me sms-es. erm. those like confessing 'i kinda like you'. 'are you willing to wait for me?' 'how do you feel about me?'
i replied 'i like you too.' cos d' said he likes me. and asked how i felt about him. and then after another few long sms-es at night, we got together. tsk. somehow it's like he won me over just by a watch???!?!
he left for australia on 5th july'05. i was with him for 2 weeks. but in that 2 weeks, he went to koh samui with ryan and guys for vacation for 5 days. that left me with like erm less than 10 days? and i actually waited for his return. all the way till now. we have waited for so long. some people may ask 'why do you trust him and actually was willing to wait when you only know the guy for like 2 weeks? the answer, "i dunno man!!"
up till now. both of us are still puzzled what brought us together.. during his first semester in australia, we talked about our 'beginning' and we realised something which we both felt was unbelievable and quite funny. my 'i like you too' sms was meant to be 'i don't hate you. like you as a friend. maybe can be develop further' on my part. but he immediately interpreted as 'i love him too'. hahaha...that's why he called me 'baby' in his first few sms-es. i was thinking 'hey! i haven't even get tog with you. why u call me that way..." wahhaha.. really slaps forehead kinda situation. it was a misunderstanding... misinterpretation... but a good one... =)
i feel very comfortable when i am with you, daryl. very glad you feel this way too. you love my everything. i love your everything. you tolerate me. i try to tolerate you. haha notice the word 'try'. =P i feel very loved by you. my whole world is about you.
i look at my colleagues. they are like soulmates to each other.. i began to wonder. where are my soulmates...? not jeanie and ps. it's kinda sad when i think of it. this bond.. it seems more like those on surface type. we don't share troubles tog...but i tend to open up to june more often..more of those heart to heart talks with june.. i dunno. the closest friends.. yet not close enough.. *sigh*
the only one whom i share my woes and happiness with is not my family but you, dear. you really are my everything. i have never imagined what it will be like when i don't have you around. each time we quarrel and i say things to spite you. i will just tell myself i will be able to carry on with my life like in the past. but when i sit down to think about it. it's not quite possible.. too used to have you in my life already. i don't know what's wrong with me. haha.. my tears are flowing again. too emotional.

mother's day celebration and love bite. haha! @ 12:19 AM
i'm back with pictures!
mother's day this year was so unforgettable. i went to reserve the cake early in the morning! then went to mavis' birthday party at hougang. then rushed back to grandma's for the surprise celebration for all the mothers in our family.
i wore super high espadrilles that day. wahhaha. and a tubetop. mavis' sis said i looked pretty. haha.. =P saw this mediacorp actress at mavis' hse. the *qi1 cai3 xue2 tang2*'s principal... her chinese super biaozhun. haha she's so funny. oh mavis' nephew looked like pooh bear. hahaha so cute!! very obedient baby...
ok. fast forward to mother's day celebration. 4th aunt also bought a cake. a very nice d24 durian cake. but ours more colorful..hahah..and yeah loh. i ate 3 cakes on sunday. =/so fattening... oh i gave my presents and handmade cards to mom and godmom. they looked touched. i felt like tearing...haha and i did. 3 times in all. the tears just came flowing... then when everyone sang "shi shang zhi you mama hao" i teared like mad. haha. not like i wanted to but they just flowed... i cannot stand that song. too touching and mushy... everyone sang. oh my god. i just couldn't take it. so paiseh lah!

ok. i know this is a bit outta point. but i must say this lah. i saw this malay girl in cineleisure foodcourt this evening when i was having my break time. she was with her friends. when she walked past, i saw this horrible red patch on her neck. it's *4/5 love bites combined in one* yeah. that's what i will call it. aiyohs... can at least cover or not... show everyone your wonderful red neck. it's a circular patch with diameter like 5cm? *shakes head*
must use necklace to cover mah.... haha i speak as if i got lotsa experience! oh gonna have dinner with sis n mum n jason tmr night! so happy... it's been so long since we last ate tog.... i mean outside. haha. okay dokes. i shall end here. dear said i looked slim in the last picture. haha yeahh i 'look' slim. but i am not. those in black top were taken an hr ago. hehs. can wear shorts to work. so comfy...

yeah 3 days of standing. i nearly died. but my legs *seasoned* already. wahhaha.. i am not scared of standing!! i love my workplace actually.. i like 'fourskin' & 'skinnie'. prefer fourskin thou! selling guys' clothes in fourskin.. today's sales was quite good. the last bunch of male customers were funny. they helped me increase sales by 70+. haha.. the malay couple and the 2 young ladies whom i served over at skinnie were nice and friendly too! it's like this. you smile at people. they like it, they treat you nice. maybe it's because i am a beginner...so i smile. maybe after working for long, i get sick and tired, i may end up like my other colleagues... they don't smile so much.. please.. don't put me in 'adorn'..i look at the caps i get giddy already... peeps! if you guys wanna find me, haha, look out for me at annex, heerens level 4. =) jeanie came with yy on my first day of work already!
really must thank jaslin.. she's very helpful... =) very funny also. but i am still shocked when i saw her tongue stud and the way she lick her lips. haha..
righto. sunday is my day off again. but i am still going back to shop!! why why why!?! because stupid me changed bag but did not transfer the wallet. i did not have my money to pay for the presents i bought from my workplace. need them tomorrow. so have to go back and pay. grrr. it's mother's day...hehe.. we have something goin' on~~~ pictures will be up...
oh. saw ah guan gor gor (my cousin) in fourskin today. i called him. he said 'mm' and nodded. i was thinking what a simple hello. haha.. then he looked up again & realized it was me. he said i am not like me... hmmm.... jaslin said i looked i hongkonger today. hahah... the jacket i think... i had a nice hair day too!!
i have so many things to buy... *wanna buy*.... hands itchy.. hahha.. been eyeing that pair of pink shoes since wednesday. hiaks. i'm gonna try them on tmr. =) 1st june.... come quick. i need money... after my bangkok trip, i have not shopped at all. not even once. well, if u consider school bazaar 3 for 10 dollars clothes as proper shopping. that's once. *sulk*
i am very talkative now. but no one to talk to. so i blog. i was wondering how jaslin's friend can talk on the phone for 4 hrs. but guess what? i talked to my hubhub for 5 hrs straight on friday (my day off). non-stop. no pausing. haha like what he said. we were really parrots. (bryan gave us that name) dear!! my mom bought a new phone set!! hehe... no more noise during our conversations already! it looks something like your housephone.
it's so fast larr.... mid-may already. half a month more. i'm gonna send out invitation to my birthday chalet already! yeahhh... dear will be back to help me decide the cake order. love him to the max. but i can hate him to the core as well. wahahha.. =P
ok last paragraph! been working in town. i see all sorts of people. generally. there are 4 types. those who know they look good and become peacocks (proud like dunno what), those who know they look good but remain humble & shy, those who are not-so-good-lookin' but are peacocks, those who are not-so-good-looking but maintain a low profile. i always prefer those who are humble and keep a low profile. attitude is much more pleasing too... cocky fellas. shit off. everyone should be nice to the sales assistants and servers in restaurants. please don't be mean. a 'thank you' or a smile. it will just leave a very good impression to others... it's basic courtesy.
do you do that when you're being served? do you do that when you are the one serving others? =) *i suddenly feel like i'm the courtesy lion* hahahah.

exams ended on friday. it was a very stressful period for me last week. exams. things had to be stuffed into my brain continuously. =( 3 days of exams straight is no good. for health & mind.
but!! when my last ppr was over, i felt so relieved!! sushi buffet with jamie, ruth & emily in town was fun.
couldn't eat much cos' was over-starved by the time we started. haha. then discomfort in the stomach for the whole day. then i got a job! thru jamie. gonna work in heerens. i need the money..... great singapore sale... come to me!! hahah... by the time daryl should be back also. haha. got extra money to spend. =P kiddin', dear! he's coming back in another 40 days.....!!sunday was cailing's birthday celebration at june's place. nickie was so cute larrhh!!! (nickie is june's dog) haha.. a very pleasant surprise for cailing..haha.. we had steamboat, then cake cutting!!

talked to june till 6 plus in the morning. haha june. sorry for being "mou lei mou"! hahahah... i fell asleep half way thru talking. =P woke up when nickie was tugging at me at 10 plus. she's so cute!! follow me and will just lie down wanting me to stroke her. ahahha. xiao ke ai...
then june & i went to meet up with carol, our ex prima deli colleague! okies. i go paint my nails. haha. too free. me & sis waiting for our canadian pizza delivery to arrive anyway! bye ppl!!
